Easily convert the analogue video signals from a Scart video connection to a digital HDMI signal for use with HDMI supported displays. The HDMI output signal is selectable as either a 720p or 1080p HDMI video format.
The converter is a ‘box-in-the-middle’ device with a scart cable going into it and a HDMI cable coming out of it. For example the Scart connection of an older video source (VCR, VHS, DVD etc.) can be converted to HDMI to be displayed perfectly on any HDMI connectable display.
The unit also encompasses analogue audio output connections so that audio can be routed to an external amplifier or headphones. By default, audio will be routed through the HDMI output.The unit encodes analogue audio and video signals in to a HDMI video and audio signal.
